Identifiers are sent over TLS and converted to deterministic SHA-256 values for matching. Hashing reduces exposure but is not encryption, especially for guessable values such as phone numbers or IP addresses.

How do you protect personal data?

When you submit a report or perform a query, identifiers are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The service normalizes them and applies SHA-256 for matching. Report narratives and required account information are stored; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Can clients dispute a report?

You may contact the reporting company to dispute the report. We are actively working on integrating a removal request workflow.
