Scammers often use phone calls to impersonate banks, government agencies, or tech support and trick people into revealing personal information or making payments. Have you ever received suspicious calls? How do you respond to them—do you hang up immediately, ask for written confirmation, or verify the caller by contacting the institution directly? Share your strategies for dealing with vishing attempts and protecting yourself from phone scams.
 
This happened to me. Perhaps I already mentioned it. Some people impersonated my auto insurance company on the phone demanding something like $300.

Luckily, I never paid and called my real company.

Anyway, my only strategy to block these bozos is just phone blocking as much as possible.
